Bokke Wines was formed in Toronto, Ontario, in 2004 by Eleanor Cosman. The first winery represented was Lammershoek, located in the Swartland wine region of South Africa, not far from where Eleanor grew up.
Eleanor’s passion and enthusiasm for wine has led her to expand Bokke’s portfolio to include more wineries from South Africa and elsewhere in the southern hemisphere, including Argentina, Australia, and New Zealand.
In additional to her own portfolio of wines, Eleanor promotes all South African wines through the South African Wine Society SAWS was founded, in Toronto, in 1990 and Eleanor has been the SAWS President for many years. Eleanor is also a member of the Canadian Association Of Professional Sommeliers.
